Since we all get confused every now and then (and I'll be the first to admit my little world and characters here can get a bit hectic and hard to follow sometimes!), here's a section to help clarify. If I've missed anything, feel free to contact me with your question; which if reasonably well asked, may be added to the growing list here.

How did you come to name your series "Colour"?

I was trying to come up with a title that could be considered symbolic. And the whole concept of colours eventually struck my interest. They're a sight to behold, but can mean so much more than meets the eye. They can mean emotions, concepts, and symbols, and come in many unique shades and tones. They're very much like people, if you think about it. Hence my series' "motto" as it were:
"The world is a rainbow, and we are the colour."

Considering your series/webcomic is named Colour, why did you choose to format it in black and white?

The irony amused me :D Okay, honestly? Because if you've ever seen my normal artwork, colouring in full colour (via coloured pencils) is a very long and tedious process, and requires much colour variety, considering my character designs. I've always found B&W refined, but I still wanted to create a completed look, so I use a black coloured pencil to finish.
To sum up: colouring comic pages in B&W = less time and less money (in which to buy all those coloured pencil packs!).

So what/who are these "Tierewesen/Tierseien" people you speak of?

First off, the word "Tierewesen" is German, which translates into "animal beings" (Tierseien being singular "animal being"), which is really a fancier term for a human/animal cross. Which as many may know as anthro/furry people. I just wanted an official species/race name for it in my series, so I didn't have to refer to them as anthro or furry. Seemed more professional. And I really do try to play it out as realistically as possible.

What's the deal with all the warthogs? Why warthogs?

Why not warthogs? Well actually, I forget exactly how I was first inspired, but the fact that no one ever uses warthogs as a character (except TLK with Pumbaa and TMNT with Bebop!) was definitely a factor, and so I was intrigued to use a more unique species. It all started with one side character of mine, who grew to a main character, whose family lines grew and spread both forward and back, so... that's why there's so many :) They've become one of Colour's main plot sources.

So what is Colour about exactly?

Oho... now this is a tough one! It's about a lot of things really. The story never really stays in focus on just one person or just one family; it's quite often all over the place. But the underlining moral is that everything and everyone is connected in some shape or form, directly or indirectly.
But I guess it's suffice to say that Colour is about life, and all the aspects of it; good and bad, simple and pivotal, and the people who make it the way it is.
Oh. It's also about Earth's second Armageddon as it were; the death of the human race and the birth of a new one (kinda like how dinosaurs were replaced by evolving mammals).

How long is Colour going to be?

Hoo boy... quite long! (especially with my intended update schedule of a whopping once a week XD) Let me put it this way; I have somewhere around five generations of characters to work with. I kid you not. And plenty happens to each, so that's a lot to work with. So I could very well be doing this for years (or until life or otherwise gets in the way... but at this point in time, the sky's the limit!).

You have homosexual pairings; are you one of those yaoi/yuri fangirls?

Not neccessarily, and I find it rather silly that people immediately jump to that conclusion. I have a few same gender pairings; that's all there is to it. They flicker in and out of the story like everyone else. I'm sorry if the concept offends anyone, but all they have to do is ignore it or just not look altogether. It just strikes me as unfair to judge an entire plot because of the one concept... But hey, that's just me :O

Can my character have a cameo in the comic?

At this point in time, I don't require cameos. When I do however, I'll probably only do so for close friends, since I trust them, and they probably won't get any lines/script, so really, it's just crowd filler! I'm just not comfortable with using other people's characters in my own work, since the character(s) is not mine, thus I'm constantly dependant on the original creator as to how they would act and what they would say (even if I know the character well, I'm still paranoid).

Do you take requests/trades/commissions?

Requests = no. Trades = depends (most of the time). Commissions = yes. Contact me for details if you are interested in the latter two (see my Creator page to find said contact information).

About those fifth day fillers/fanart; are you going to remove them from the archives?

Yes, I do so once they've fulfilled their purpose in tiding the readers over on extra updates. I've just begun doing that recently, so hopefully new readers will find catching up much easier from now on.
