So you want to know about the creator, do you? Well then, let’s see if I
can shed a bit of fun factoids and history for you! (also see my contact
information, webpages, and additional credits at the bottom)

Creator Profile:
Real Name: Cari
Birthdate:
Birthplace: B.C.,
Adult Height: 5'7.5"
Eye/Hair Colour: Hazel/Brown
Gender: Female
Species: Human
Status: Married
Occupation: Room Attendant
History:
Well I've been drawing seriously since around 2000, give or take, and have over
said years, created somewhere around two hundred original characters (and
goodluck to me on finding a role for all of them!). But it wasn’t until
2006 I began seriously been developing my Colour universe.
I'll let you in on a
little secret (if you didn't already know, being an acquaintance or
likewise)... my original characters and ideas first started out in fanfiction
and somewhat of a fanverse, based off the cartoon "Sonic Underground"
(that's right; old school Sonic the Hedgehog fan here, you can blame my older
brother for playing Sonic 2 during our childhood for that!).
My contributions to
said series lasted well around six years, and made me many friends from all
around (several of whom I've met in person, and are simply amazing people!),
and really helped me develop my own style and creativity. I may have branched
off, but Sonic Underground will always have a special place in my heart.
As said, it wasn't
until 2006 that I finally took the plunge and decided that my fan-creative
works were coming to a close. I'd been toying with the idea of my own original
series coming together for a long while, and with my growing inspiration and
fondness for my original characters and ideas, I knew it was only a matter of
time. And with the encouragement and support of many awesome friends and fans,
I now stand here, as I am, with my own series, as I'd always hoped to attain.
But yes. So more
about me personally? Well, I'm in my mid 20's, I live in British
Columbia, in Canada, I have three brothers (one older, two younger), I have an
amazing husband (our wedding was April 30th, 2009) whom I've been with almost eight
years now, I have a cat named Milo, and two rabbits named Wagi and
Shadow... yay for random pointless info!
I've always loved
drawing and writing and creating, and I enjoy it still to this day. I hope one
day to make a living in the art (or writing maybe) field, perhaps illustration
or such like, but for now I'm a room attendant (in housekeeping) at a resort. Depending on the
season, it has its ups and downs, heh.
Other things I also
enjoy are reading, swimming, cartoons, (web)comics, video games, cards, movies,
tennis, history, and the occasional tv show (especially in the sitcom or drama genre). And last, but more importantly,
music. I couldn't live without the stuff, it's such a beautiful aspect of life
(in my humble opinion)! If it's one thing that never fails to inspire; it's a
good song.

Additional Credits:
First and foremost,
to kaourika:
Without her endless support (and nagging- *HIT*) and helpful advice and
guidance into aquiring this hosting and making the place so extra spiffy, this
website would not have been possible. So worship her awesomeness and read her
webcomic, Joyride, because it's as
awesome as she is.
Oh, and she also made that nifty leafy background image! And the Navigation
headers. Again, SHE IS FULL OF EPIC WIN, FOLKS. *worships*
Secondly (and no less
important!), to Brandon
(ZaneRedrald):
For being such an amazing and supportive partner, and for putting up with my
n00bish comic-ing skills and offering me so much advice and tips (even when I
was being a stubborn ass and refused to listen. Heh heh heh. Love me?) on those
"dynamic panels" and such like. See, this is why YOU should be the
one doing a webcomic! *hit* (he will one day, guys! And it will rock mucho
hard. *nods*) But yeah. See, told you I'd shamelessly plug you somewhere...
*cackles*
Lastly, to everyone
else:
Friends, acquaintances, family, fans and anyone who ever took the time to say
they appreciated and enjoyed my work and ultimately encouraged me to come as
far as I have. You're all wonderful and generous, and have given so much more
than you know. A deep heartfelt thanks to you! I hope I continue to satisfy
with this project (and to anyone who reads it, thank you for the ongoing
support!).
And let's not forget
the technical, yet vital highlights on two very important sources here:
Comic Genesis and Blambot, for the webcomic hosting and comic
lettering. Both being very awesome!
